§ 2-313. Certification of reproductions; compensation for verifying.

  • All such small-scale reproductions shall be very carefully checked, approved and certified, by the officer having official custody of the original Records, as to their being complete, accurate and legible copies of the Records which were originally filed or recorded in his office. The County Commissioners shall pay all fee officers a reasonable compensation from the general revenue fund when the work of verifying the Records is completed; provided, however, such compensation shall be reported as fee receipts of the office and accounted for as provided by law. The negative, or positive copies made therefrom, shall be placed in conveniently accessible files, and ample provisions shall be made for preserving, safekeeping and properly indexing them, and for quickly projecting, examining and exhibiting them whenever requested to during regular office hours, and for quickly making enlarged reproductions of any portion thereof upon request.
