It is the intent of the Board of County Commissioners of Sarasota County, Florida
to promote the health, safety and welfare of its citizens, residents and visitors,
by providing for the regulation of Emergency Medical Transportation Service (EMTS)
thereby promoting the development and maintenance of safe, healthy, efficient and
service-oriented emergency medical transportation services for Sarasota County.
