In the event that the PACE Program Coordinator determines that any PACE Local Government
has failed to abide by the provisions of this Ordinance and the PACE Interlocal, following
sixty day notice to cure, the Board of County Commissioners in its sole discretion,
may suspend or terminate the Interlocal agreement and the PACE Local Government shall
have no authority to continue with any new projects within Sarasota County. The Board's
determination shall be considered final administrative action for purposes of appeal.
Notwithstanding termination of the Interlocal agreement, however, property owners
whose applications were approved prior to the termination date, and who received funding
through the PACE Program, shall continue to be a part of the PACE Program, for the
sole purpose of paying their outstanding assessment payments, until such time that
all outstanding assessment payments have been satisfied.
