§ 2.11. County Attorneys.

    Appointment. The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint a County Attorney who shall serve at the pleasure of and for such compensation as determined by the Board of County Commissioners. The County Attorney shall be a member of the Florida Bar with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the practice of law prior to the time of appointment. The County Attorney shall serve as legal advisor to the Board of County Commissioners.
