§ 70-177. Establishment of Park Facility Service Districts.

(a)

In furtherance of the implementation of this article, the Board hereby establishes unincorporated area Park Facility Service Districts to be known as the "North County Unincorporated Area Park Facility Service District" and the "South County Unincorporated Area Park Facility Service District," and municipal Park Facility Service Districts to be known as the "City of Sarasota Park Facility Service District," the "City of Venice Park Facility Service District," the "City of North Port Park Facility Service District" and the "Town of Longboat Key Park Facility Service District."

(b)

The boundaries of said districts are shown on the Maps described in Section 70-175 (Definitions), which Map is incorporated herein by reference and attached to Ordinance No. 99-039 as Attachment A.

(c)

Upon annexation of unincorporated County land by the City Council/Commission of a Municipality, the Map described in Section 70-175 (Definitions) shall be deemed to reflect the new boundaries of the applicable Park Facility Service Districts, without further action by the Board. Following the annual review, as provided in Section 70-184, the Board may cause the County Administrator to revise the Map in accordance with the new service district boundaries. Any such updated Map shall be deemed to be incorporated into this article without formal action by the Board.
