§ 26-37. Inspection.
(a)
Sexually oriented businesses and sexually oriented business employees shall permit the County Administrator and his or her designees to inspect, from time to time on an occasional basis, the portions of the sexually oriented business premises where patrons are permitted, as well as employee records maintained by the sexually oriented business pursuant to section 26-34, for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the specific regulations of this chapter, during those times when the sexually oriented business is occupied by patrons or is open to the public. This section shall be narrowly construed by the County to authorize reasonable inspections of the licensed premises pursuant to this chapter, but not to authorize an unreasonable or excessive pattern of inspections.
(b)
The provisions of this section do not apply to areas of an adult motel which are currently being rented by a customer for use as a permanent or temporary habitation.
