§ 22-61. Findings.

(a)

The Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter "Board") finds that it is necessary to adopt a swimming pool code (hereinafter "code") in order to provide for the safe construction of swimming pools within Sarasota County and to otherwise promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Sarasota County.

(b)

The Board, sitting as the Sarasota County Land Development Regulation Commission, has reviewed the proposed ordinance codified in this article and has found that it is consistent with the Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan.
