§ 118-79. Disposition of facilities.

In the event a franchise expires, is revoked or is otherwise terminated, the Board may, in its sole discretion, do any of the following:

(1)

Purchase. Where the franchise has been terminated for cause, purchase the cable system pursuant to Federal law.

(2)

Transfer. Effect a transfer of ownership of the system to another party pursuant to Federal law.

(3)

Removal. Order the removal of the cable system facilities from the County.

(4)

Receiver. Where termination was due to insolvency, request that a receiver be appointed to operate the cable system.

(5)

Limitation: This section shall not apply to those cable system facilities that remain in use by franchisee to provide services other than cable service.
